RESPONSIBILITIES

Varberg Direct, which belongs to the IT department, is a contact center where citizens and businesses turn to the municipality with inquiries. The idea is that those who contact the municipality should receive help both more easily and faster. Varberg Direct has the mandate to answer questions and provide information that was previously handled by the municipality's various departments, thus preventing customers from being passed around and getting direct answers. Together, we are involved in developing Varberg Municipality's brand.

We are divided into competence teams, and together with your colleagues, you will meet people with many different questions. As a summer substitute, you will be responsible for all our competence teams. To succeed in your role, you need to be curious and actively seek and ask for information. The job involves providing first-class service via phone, visits, and the municipality's digital channels. Many times, you will need to search for and register information during ongoing calls. The work includes some administration and ongoing dialogue with several departments to resolve incoming inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are service-oriented, creative, and solution-focused. You have a genuine interest in helping and guiding people. You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, and make decisions in a structured and careful manner. You will work in many different systems that require very good computer skills and administrative abilities. You have excellent communication skills, are outgoing, and engage with customers with great enthusiasm. You have a humble approach in collaboration with your colleagues to exceed customer expectations. You possess very good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as the ability to converse in English.

Varberg Municipality has a political decision regarding the desired employment rate. This means that employees have the right to work full-time or part-time as desired.
